Sykes Pumps sponsor national water awards ceremony

<![CDATA[For a ninth successive year, water companies, consultants, contractors and suppliers gathered at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole to celebrate and acknowledge various achievements within the UK’s water sector.

As a company with a huge involvement in a broad spectrum of water projects, it was with great pleasure that Sykes Pumps helped promote and sponsor the Water Industry Achievement Awards in England’s second city.

In total, prizes were given in thirteen different categories ranging from carbon reduction initiatives and engineering projects to partnership schemes and flood management. Entries were judged by independent panels of experts immersed in the water trade, with innovation and best practice the two main criteria in which applicants were assessed.

As usual, the evening was extremely well-received and allowed guests the opportunity to network in addition to recognising the various achievements of those present. Organised by WET News and Water & Wastewater Treatment, this annual event is widely considered to be the industry’s most noteworthy occasion of the calendar year.

2016 will mark a landmark tenth consecutive gala dinner awards following unremitting success up until this point, and something we look forward to being involved with once again.]]>
