Each Super Silenced pump is contained within a lockable acoustic canopy which, in addition to offering unrivalled noise reduction (as low as 58 dBA at 7m), also means that the pump controls cannot be accessed by anyone not authorised to do so. These hire pumps are able to handle everything from clean water to sludge and slurry, delivering the power and reliability you need while operating at lower noise levels than demanded by European and global legislation.

Most of our silent pumps have an integral fuel tank offering up to 24 hours of continuous running and, as a self-contained unit, they are fully bunded to ensure that there will be no negative impact on the local environment in the event of an unlikely oil or fuel spillage.

Our silenced units can be supplied with level controls and telemetry options. This innovative feature means pumps can be operated fully automatically and monitored remotely by trained personnel, providing a stream of operating data over the airwaves, eliminating the need and costs associated from visits by engineers. Any problems can be picked up by Sykes immediately, sometimes before a user is even aware of it, and remedial action, such as dispatching engineers and client notification, can then be taken. Any disruption to pumping operations is minimised or completely avoided.
