The festival organisers have been clients with Andrews Sykes for years. Some of the cabins contained a large amount of electrical equipment to support some of the marquees, subsequently it caused a warmer ambient. This meant that there was a need to reduce the temperature within certain areas. We provided two Polar Wind 4.1 kW air conditioning units on a short term hire, each unit was strategically placed, so that the individual cabins would not be compromised, whilst still managing to cool the sensitive areas. The Polar Wind has a fully automatic thermostat and a remote control, it’s totally portable and can be positioned to direct a welcome breeze of cool air anywhere in a room. The job was specified on site by one of our engineers, ensuring for the best solution on last minute changes.
The event was a great success, the areas that were overheating were kept cool. Andrews Sykes have much experience with last minute changes and we are always prepared to adjust any solution to your problem.
