Competition winners enjoy fantastic Race Retro event

<![CDATA[Earlier in the month, Andrews Heat for Hire invited customers, social media followers and members of staff to enter our free competition ahead of 2017’s eagerly anticipated Race Retro motor sport event.

A number of lucky winners were therefore present at Stoneleigh Park on Saturday, with all enjoying an exciting day of thrills and spills!

Special guests and competition winners were treated to an adrenaline pumping circuit of the track in the passenger seat of Russell Brookes’ classic championship winning Andrews Heat for Hire Opel Manta 400 – kindly provided by Kerry Michael.

This preceded European champion Chris Ingram being presented with his FIA trophy in front of a large number of visitors. The young Mancunian was only too happy to give people a true rally car experience and joked that everyone departed his vehicle ‘either smiling, laughing or shaking!’

Motorsport fans were also treated to a Q&A style interview with Chris, who was flanked for much of the day by rally legend Russell Brookes.

We are delighted that everyone in attendance enjoyed their day and felt a part of the first major meeting of the season. The company looks forward to hosting similar competitions over the upcoming months, so keep an eye out for these!
